Upper radiator hose. O'Reily's Auto Parts The counter man might even walk out to look at your truck to make sure you get the right one.

Nope not that one. Its the one on top of the intake with the temp sensor and connects to the heater core

The small coolant line that runs through the throttle body is a dealer or junkyard part. The formed hose sections and crimped ends at the steel lines make it expensive if you can find one at a dealership and a good number of salvage yard units are deteriorated pretty badly when you find them. I know a couple of guys who have carefully removed the crimped hoses and re-used the steel lines with standard heater/fuel line. This works well enough, just watch the bends in the hoses that they don't collapse.

OK, i don't think I'm giving a clear description of what am asking about.

Try this,

On top of the lower manifold just behind the thermostat housing, there is a coolant manifold that has the temp sensor then a pipe branches off to the heater core and another pipe go's to the throttle body.

I have talked with a few of my friends about it (yes i do have friends) they seem to think its called a idle bypass manifold or cooland bypass monifold. I've tried looking it up by those description's with not luck.

Ok, I've never seen this part of the cooling system have a problem. So you have some problem with this manifold that holds the ECT sensor? Perhaps this is why we misunderstood. I don't know that anyone has had problems with this part of the cooling system (other than to have the ECT sensor fail). Regardless of our experiences though, it is going to be a salvage part. It is highly doubtful the component will still be available from Ford.

What has happened to it if you don't mind elaborating?

Not sure what the ECT senor is, but the manifold i'm talking about is were the temperature senor is mounted to, on top of the lower intake right behind the thermostat.

Mine rotted out. I have another one on a different intake, but it would destroy that intake to get it off. I think i might make my own. Home Depot here i come......

ECT sensor = Engine Coolant Temperature sensor... not to be confused with the sensor for the for the temperature gauge which is a different animal in a different location.

the hose going to the throttle body is seen here right of the EGR sesor wiring.
The hose connects to a T that runs from the water pump to the heater core. Warms up the throttle body I think.

Plug the hoses and drive over to O'Reily's. See if they can help you out.

Yes, its had been established what is being discussed. The part, if it has corroded or deteriorated to the point of being unusable, will have to be found in another intake and replaced. It is highly unlikely Ford could even provide a new unit at this point much less finding a new one aftermarket
