Bully Dog vs. Super Chip

innovativediesel.com and on a side note you shouldn't tune your truck with mpg gain being the reason. You will most likly be dissapointed in the outcome. A tunner is after all a performance mod not a econ mod. If you see any gain it most likly will be very small. I know there are a lot of companies that clam big gains but I haven't seen any real world proff, or at least not consistant. You do stand the best chance of seeing slight gains and I mean slight with custom tunes, as they are written for your truck. Do a little reasearch on the bullydog (or any other one size fits all programer) on this site and you will find tons of info on why they are really bad for the 6.0

Your still a little tame for a tow beast. Also, I don't subscribe to having to delete the EGR for reliable truck.
As most of the others have stated. Don't do the tuner for mpg gains, more then likely it won't be worth it. Tuning alone didn't get me any gains. I know quite a few others that didn't get any gains either. A few of us even tried hyper mile'ing it and that didn't do any good either. It is what it is. Now I'm not saying that you won't see gains, but the chances of seeing gains, especially huge gains to make it the investment pay off quickly, are not that high.
