does any one know if the 2004 ford sd's had a gem module. My truck is having all the symptoms of a gem mod. problem no dash guages, alt is not working, o/d light on shifter is out ,and the shift on the fly selector is not ingaging. the guy at the dealership was no help, he said it shouldnt have one, but he didnt know what was causing all my problems, but for alot of money he could find out. ive checked every fuse and relay twice, i changed the ignition switch, and tested the alternator please help if you can this is really bugging me, and i cant let it sit at the dealership for a month waiting to get it repaired.

 

Pretty sure Ford put GEM modules in everything they built. Mustangs, Explorers, F-150s, Super Duty, Rangers.....
