Good point, a John Woods Valve Body seems to be the choice for most 4R100 users...

I'm hoping to order my Procomp setup later this week -- I just have to decide between going springs or blocks in rear. The difference is less that $200 so I may just end up doing the front Procomp 4" kit that comes with the shocks, and rear springs 22415's.

Also ordering Dunlops Maxx Tractions 315-75-16 for the stock rims.

I just wish I had enough $ left over to regear both axles... That will just have to wait I guess - I hope it isn't too much of a dog with the stock 3.73's

Never ever go with blocks in the rear, always do it right the first time and go with springs...

One too many times, I see someone that has a nice lift of their truck, but it's all over the road wandering and squatts low like it's trying to take a dump when they tow something.

I went with all springs and am very satisfied, my truck barely squatts even with a 8K load behind it...

Yeah -- I know the difference in price is really negligible when it comes down to it when you subtract the price of blocks to the price of the 22415 rear springs.

I'm hoping for 4"s or so on the Procomp lift using the 22210 fronts and 22415 rears. I really woould love to go 6" but with 2 kids (4yr old and 19 month old ) and one more on the way I can only go so high ....

Whoa... I'm running blocks in the rear and mine handling like a champ, but I'm sure if I hooked up a load, it would look like its dumping. I would like to replace the blocks with springs so that I don't get the axle warp, but I'm worried that I'll lose some of my handling. I 100% agree with you. Maybe I'm just a lucky fella.

So all of you with a 4" kit - did you get the actual kit with the dropped pitman arm and track bar bracket or just the springs?

Need a little help

You guys might have covered this already but i'm still a little lost.
I have a 2004 ford excursion v8 turbo diesel. Im looking for the best 6 inch lift that can run 35's. I want a lift that can handle whatever it needs to, Off roading, mudding and whatnot. Something very durable. Can somebody give me some direction?

Thanks guys, Adam
