2" Suspension Lift for 1996 f250

I am looking for 2" lift kit for my 1996 f250 7.5L. truck. I want to stay away from add a leafs and I suppose I will need the drop down brackets for the front axle. Any ideas?

you can use a body lift and blocks with gap covers for the frame... but do you want 2in more ground clearance or just sitting 2 inches higher?

Thanks for your response.

I wanted to upgrade my current stock springs. They are sagging and the bushings need to be replaced. I figured I could upgrade. I do not want to go any higher than 2" because I don't want to buy bigger tires. I also use a 1,500lb. slide in camper so a body lift kit may not work for me. I have seen 4 inch kits but I am worried about the higher center of gravity and my camper.

thanks again,

Keith

How does your truck sit unloaded? Does it have a good rake or does it sit level?

I would recommend air assist bags in the rear. Then you can vary the stiffness and compensate for an uneven load. Pumped up they can give you 1.5".

For the front, get your local spring shop to build you a pack, or re-arc the pack you have and replace with poly bushings. I have also heard that skyjacker 4" lift springs suck, and will only give you 2" of lift once they are broken in.

Thanks for the response, this is my first thread to a forum and I did not know what great suggestions I would get.
