'51 F-1 Spring Under Conversion???
#16
After cutting the perches off of the rear axle I could not re-use them so I welded on new perches on the bottom of the axle. I used a drop axle for the front and removed a couple of leafs also. Note, since I went with the dropped axle I then needed to use tie rod end adapters. I have not had this truck on the road yet to test the steering so I hope everything goes well with that. The new perches were the same thickness also.
