i have a 2007 F150 with the 5.4 eng. there is a switch on the drivers side valve cover under the power steering reservoir thats leaking oil. what is it and does it have a seal or something that would be causing this leak. " found its a VCT seal."
still haven't found out what this is or how to remove and fix it. maybe its not a switch, but it has two wires going to it. theres one on both valve covers toward the front of the eng, goes into the valve cover.
thanks for the help!!! none of the parts places i've been to knew what it was, now that i know what it is and how to change it without damaging the solenoid, looks like a piece of cake. once again thanks.
