0862731A << number on pump

is there anyway to tell from this number on it

oh yeah lol sorry.. its a high pressure oil pump from a motor i got wondering if its a 15 or 17?

hm, I am trying to remember but one them has a hump on the back of the pump, but I can not remember which one, what kind of fittings does it have? the SD fittings are different than the OBS ones, I would compare it to the one that is in your truck, if the housing looks different then it is probably a 17, any other numbers on it?

If you got it on a motor the look at the fittings. If they are quick loc then 17 degree.
If they are compression then it is a 15.

There are other ways to tell but you will have to remove the rear cover.

Actually this is not 100% accurate either. If it is an early '99 then it is a 15° pump with quick loc fittings.

The best way to be for sure is to remove the rear cover and look at the bearings.
