Lift 2 in on a 79 f150 2wd?
I have a solid 2wd 1979 f150 I want to raise just 2 inches its a bit low for me I know its only a 2wd but I love to get a tougfher look raise it 2in put a roll bar on it. Anyways I cant find anywhere to get a kit cheap for a 2in lift on my 1979 I checked ebay etc. I love the 79 style and front end rear etc. Anybody guide to where I get a 2inch lift front and back??

You can't lift it even two inches without bending the I-beams and modifying the steering. You can't simply bolt on a "leveling kit" like you can with a later model truck.
The best option is the Autofab "econo" 3" lift. 65-79 econo lift It's probably more that you're wanting to spend. But you gotta realize it takes more than a polyurethane spacer to lift these trucks.

it's just the suspension that is one these trucks. Since the i-beams have kingpins at the connection point to the uprights/spindles there is no way to adjust the camber after lifting or lowering aside from bending the beam to compensate.
Heck - when they do alignments on these old trucks they bend the beams to get it right. This is time/effort which = $$.
Newer trucks that used the i-beam suspensions went to ball joints where the beams connect to the uprights and the ball joints allowed for use of eccentric cams to correct camber. That's why you can get away with lifting a "never" (I say newer but I beams got dropped for a-arms in 96/97) F series only a couple inches for a lot less.
Going more than 3" with lift on even the "newer" trucks requires a pivot drop bracket or bending of the beam though - and it's about the same cost as the older trucks here.
