I'd say $400 is a good price. Wait a 2 weeks, $400 will start looking good to the seller. It's not going anywhere too soon. It's a big, rusty, northern truck. It doesnt' help to have pictures of it sitting under 4" of snow, it looks pretty rough and it ain't going to get any better once the snow is gone.

I'll try again in the future if he still has it. He was told it was worth $5000. He said he didn't expect to get that much. He just relisted it for $1200. Still more than I can afford. On the flipside, I just bought a $100 trailer. It'll be set up as an engine test stand and body cart. It's basically an old IH pickup frame with the front half bent in for the tongue. Also got my atv running ( old Kawasaki 185 = inheritance) and got the F6 moved up by the garage. Been a decent weekend despite the weather.

$5000!!! I think some one might be smoking something. Even $1200 is way too much. As I said before, let it sit. It won't sell, and if it does, you don't need it that bad.
About 5-6 years ago a guy told me about a '48-50 truck sitting behind a building at a company in the next town over. A couple of days later I was in the area so I searched the truck out and found it behind a building so I stopped in asked if it were for sale. The owner of the truck said I could look it over to see what I thought it was worth. I went back and found the truck was a total rot bucket, literally the only good part was the stainless grill trim. I offered the guy $100, this was when scrap was selling for a few pennies a pounds. He told me he was told by some guy over the phone, without seeing it, that it was worth at least $1500. I swear, there was nothing repairable on it. I had to walk out but I've gone back every couple of years to check on it and it hasn't moved and hasn't gotten any better. It'll be there until the company goes out of business and they scrap everything.

yet another case of BJ-ITIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they need to ban that show !!!!!! every one thinks that rusty hulk they have is worth 10 times or more in some cases than what it's really worth . they're making it hard for those of us who actually care, repair and drive these things !!!!!!!!!!!
