Are these grommets or plug buttons?

If grommets, what is their function?

1965/66: If plug buttons, any of the following could be present:

6) 359836S for 9/16" x 13/16" hole.

3 or 4) 377935S for 1/2 hole.

1) 376966S for 5/8" hole.

2) 357042S for 13/16" hole.

1) 378444S for 1 1/8" hole.

2) 377949S for 7/8" hole.

1) 379286S for 3/8" hole.
--------------------------
1966 (only) F100/1100 & N/NT/T500/1000: (4 or 5) 380878S for 1 1/2" x 3" hole.

All these parts are obsolete, may be impossible to find.

Looking for replacement washer reservoir... not much luck... Do any part gurus (like member: "numberdummy") know what other vehicles used the same washer reservoir?

EDIT: After typing all this jazz I just noticed something: Your user name reflects 1972. Since this is the 1961/66 forum, the following info only applies to these trucks.

1972 is not the same...uses a plastic bottle. I found the one you're looking for (1972 Econoline). The info is in this forum in the Mystifies Me thread where you also asked this question.

Reproduced, prolly available from all the repro parts sellers. *

The same as used on 1961/64 Passenger Cars, some 1965/66 Passenger Cars.

F Series Trucks: There are three different types and two lengths. It depends on whether the w/shield washer was factory or dealer installed.

These reservoirs are bags not plastic bottles.

C1AZ17618E (replaced C1AZ17618D) .. W/Shield Washer Reservoir-Factory Installed.

The filler cap is integral with the reservoir and is hinged. The nipple for the hose is located towards the bottom of the bag...on its outer side.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C1AZ17618F .. W/Shield Washer Reservoir-Factory installed.

The cap is removable, otherwise it's the same as C1AZ17818E.
------------------------------------------------------------
C1RZ17618A .. W/Shield Washer Reservoir-Dealer installed / This bag is shorter than the others.

The filler cap is removalble, has a hole in it for a plastic tee that the hose attaches to.

* Dearborn Classics (dearbornclassics.com) sells repro car/Ranchero parts, has the bag with the hinged cover. Their part number: EC103
