Is it an Edelbrock carb? If so, that's a 600, not a 750.

Thanks for the info COMPMAN25!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is a edelbrock carb..........so that means it is a 600 not a 750 correct???

it also makes a popping noise in the carb when you get on the trottle........what is wrong?????

it has a brand new mallory duel point distributor in it , is it possible that the points are not set right and do you set them ???????????????

Go to Mallory's web site you can download their pdf instructions. Dual point dizzy is a pita, to set up. junk the points and put in an electronic ign. module very easy to do 3 wire hook up, and will last longer. If the engine is coughing through the carb it's a timing issue.
