looking for info on the F-Superduty trucks, and wanted to know what the max GVWR was for those trucks. Also what is the bolt pattern for the 10 lug axels and do they all have a independent front suspension or did some come with a "solid" axel like some of the newer 450s and 550s that have the solid pipe for a front axel? any other information is welcomed, looking into another possible project.

 

I have a 2000 F-450 Super Duty 7.3 (duelly). I just looked at the door info. Max GVWR is 15,000lbs. It has a straight front axle. (RearWD) It has only 8 lugs....don't know the pattern.

thanks it does help alot, seems the older trucks have the same gvwr as most of the newer ones(450's).

 

The substitute teacher for the auto class when I was in high school he had a 1995 Super Duty, and it has a I-beam solid front end.
