calling all super camper specials

i didn't think i was invited since i was just a lowly Trailer Special ...but since you've mentioned my kind, i now feel welcome
so far it is pretty much stock, except for the wheels which came with the truck when i bought it. I've got a rust free spare tire door waiting to get painted and a patch panel cut from a rust free truck for the box side on the driver's side that needs to get installed.
took a couple days last year and did a little interior work. put black vinyl on the headliner and had the visors recovered with the same vinyl to match. painted the dash and re-dyed the dash pad and door panels to freshen them up (door panels were blue when i bought it). just tried to make it a little nicer on the inside too. still need to re-paint the steering column, gauge bezel and get a new horn pad. would like to respray the heater box and floor vents this year as well.
gets used as our back-up heavy hauler during the summer. So far its got a tick over 85k on the clock. oh yea, i polished the gauge lens too
future plans for this summer is a weiand intake and edelbrock carb. and if i can pull the money together i'll throw in a Lunati Voodoo cam ... but we'll see how deep my pockets are when i get there.
happy to be a part of the club!

I am looking to get a buyer for my dads Super Camper Special Ranger XLT f350, best truck I have ever known. beautiful well maintained metallic green truck. Anyone looking to buy one of these last year Supers? it has a 460 and c6 too. not a spec of rust and looks runs and rides like a new truck, hot rod for sure, anyone have any info on the "supercharger"(?) hooked to the air cleaner, it looks stock and I have no idea what it is. Thanks there are some pics in my gallery

I assume you've registered it, as the last time I saw it (when it was parked in your dad's driveway in San Berdoo), it had 2008 tags on it.
If you haven't registered it since 2008 and you get pulled over by the polizei when they spot the expired tags, guess what will happen?! It won't be pleasant, that's for dang sure.

Add mine to the list
I would like to add my truck to the list too.
It is a 1974 SCS that is pretty much original except for the engine. The original owner pulled the 360 out in 1975 when he figured it wasn't cutting it. He overhauled and transplanted a 428 from a '67 T-Bird. Being used to 460's thru the years in my other trucks I didn't really think it was enough but after loading my camper I am amazed at the amount of grunt the 428 has. It's staying!
The truck has an NP435 trans, 4.10 LS axle, factory air and factory camper tie downs among the options. I also have the original Ford deluxe topper painted to match.
I am lucky in that the truck was Ziebarted when new and the owner never drove the truck in the winter. The owner took care of this truck and I am thankful for that.

Truck as I bought it.
With my 1972 Amerigo slide in.
