Macs aren't typically associated with this type of stuff. Best thing I can suggest is to get a program like Parrallels and get Windows 7 OS and then run something like AutoEnginuity or DashDAQ-PC.
With regard tot he DashDAQ-PC I do believe they are working on support for iTouches and mobile devices compared to AE at this time, since AE dropped their bi-directional support from mobile devices when it got too big for them to handle.
That's really the best that your going to get with a laptop type scan tool to my knowledge. MAC just isn't the normal though of platform for this type of software and it still doesn't have the presences that Windows does(for better or for worse that's up for debate).
I have both and like both, although I am more of a Windows person and I really do like Windows 7 and it runs more like a MAC as well.
