Cool - you don't see too many slicks mounted on 8 lug wheels! What size are they?

hmmmm, I just don't see those hooking up so good in the mud...

I often fantasize about putting 4 sticky tires on an Excursion with a BUILT engine. It would really be fun to embarrass people at the track with a 9k lb SUV - with all the TV's on and the stereo crankin' my favorite tunes. FWIW, my therapist has given up on me!

I haven't seen anything from Arne for awhile, but I love watching his passenger van running 13's in the 1/4 mile!!! (and handing this 'stang and eclipse their lunch - Dude, did you just get beat at the track by a CHURCH BUS???? )

Great video! What all has been done to that van?

Outlaw - just get a supercharger... the V10 can handle some mods too....

30x12 on 16" wheels. These are the wheels and tires that used to be on Stroked Lightning. The new one's he has here are HUGE..

I picked them up from Gene last weekend.

Thank you Nomad. That's a helluva compliment. There are a lot of trucks nicer than mine, but I'm happy with what I've got.

The Arne's van vid is one of my all time favorites too. After all these years I still don't get tired of watching it.

I'm sure I'll get some video at the track. I'm just a hair behind the van in ET, but have it beat by a few in MPH. Hopefully these tires help get it done.

Yeah, why so sick about it? I'm happy with mine, see comments here. Sure, I have not done big smokey burn outs with it (that's what the mustang is for) and have not had it to the track but mine doesn't blow black smoke out like that either. At least I pray it doesn't.

I'm not trying to start a war about gas vs diesel just saying if you have a gasser there are things you can do to it as well.

I definitely don't want to do big smokey burn outs, I guess I was referring to the range of engine mods, (tuners, chips, turbos) I know the V10 has mods as well I guess my impression is that there is a broader range for the PSD.
I agree, I don't want to and have it turn into PSD vs V10, but Williams rig is pretty impressive.
I have found, (being a newbee) that on this forum there are Gasser guys & PSD guys and each is very passionate about their beliefs. I love my V10 but had wanted a PSD for various reasons and could not afford it. I hope the bros in the V10 camp don't take my membership away.

IIRC, he had a BTS trans, injector upgrade and ???? Last post I saw from him he was hoping to get it into the 12's - but that was at least a couple years ago... There were a few other youtube vids of this van, but this one was my favorite! BTW, his license plate was 'MAIDEN'!!
