Super Duty Windshield

So I was going down the highway two days ago and a dump truck threw a rock and cracked my windshield. I have no deductible on my insurance for windshield, so I decided to make a claim. When I spoke to the guy at the glass shop I inquired about getting one of the windshields that has the Superduty logo at the top and he said "No problem". I have always liked them and thought it was a nice touch. The guy came this morning and put it in. The lighting where it is sitting right now is bad and I was getting nothing but reflections of the trees and stuff when taking pics from the outside. I know this is a crappy picture, but I was wondering what you guys thought about putting the later model windshield in our trucks?

That's pretty neat, but it's all personal preference man. I like how it has extra tinting there in the middle though.

It's actually white. It is what's called an EZ pass. The whole northeast has them available now. They are electronic sensors for the toll roads. Very convenient.

I would have done the same thing Jason. I like the newer one better too. Great thinking.

Excellent idea Jason. And all it takes is a rock.

Now all I need to do is have my winshield inadvertently get hit by a rock. OOPS, how'd that happen.

I was pissed when it happened it sounded like a bullet hit me. It was right above the drivers side right on the edge of the glass and the roof. I guess it could have been worse, it could have hit 1/2 inch higher and dented the edge of the metal instead.

I'll have to ask about getting one. I got a nice crack in my windshield from road construction and the snow/cold this winter made it walk across the glass. I really like that windshield!

I was seriously considering getting one of those for my long overdue broken windshield. I would really like to see a picture from the outside when you get a chance please.

my 99 didnt have the Super Duty in the windshield. When i replaced it with my 0 deductible, my glass guy put the updated windshield in upon request. I like it
