will 302 head bolts work on a 351? a buddy of mine cant find any for his 351. or does anybody know of where to get a full set of 351 head bolts! thanks guys

 

The 302 uses a smaller neck bolt. I am not sure if there the same thread off the top of my head. I do know they make a special bolt for using a 351 head on a 289, or 302 using a larger neck and smaller shaft or thread. Most auto parts stores have or can get you head bolts, or summit racing, performance automotive warehouse, or other after market place should have them. If he's planning on replacing the whole set I like the ARP ones and there not much more then stock.

302 use 7/16 head bolts, the 351 used 1/2" and no they are not interchangable.
