yeah, i agree. i'm slowly chasing it down. i'm going to check fuse 17 in the distribution box tonight. i don't think i need fuse 17(the one in the dash) for the truck to run. it'll be easier to track one circuit at a time. once i get power to distribution box fuse 22 and the truck running, then i'll start tracking fuse 17 in the dash.

last nights progress including checking the ignition switch, and the yellow wire that was supposed to be providing power to the r/lg wire with the key in on/start was not being energized. so it could be that fuse 17 in the distribution box is bad, or that the wire is grounded somewhere.

at least we're making progress now.

Fuse 17 was blown out. i replaced it and checked the circuits, cycled the key a few times, and she purred like a kitten...

the GPR is heating up a lot, but seems to be getting power to the plugs, so i'm calling it good for now. the fuel heater is still disconnected, and i have no real plans to reconnect it in the immediate future.

the dash is acting screwy, only some of the back lights are lighting up, and the blinkers aren't working, so i'm going to be going through the under dash fuse panel tonight and check everything under there. i'm going to pick up some spare dash lights at the parts store in case they're burned/blown out. but, the truck is running and driving now, so the rest is details.

thanks for the help

and thanks for the diagrams tjbeggs.
