Anyone good with Stains?

My dad spilled some coffee on the carpet of my Expy and I can't seem to get it out. The more I blot it, the more comes up. I have tried several cleaners but the coffee still comes through. Any ideas?

I've used one of those wet-type carpet cleaners before on previous trucks and it worked great. It's the type that shoots out the hot water/cleaner mixture and then sucks it up. We have one for our carpets that has the smaller attachment that's perfect for automotive use.

If you have nothing like that available, I'd hit it with a wet/dry vac and some automotive carpet stain remover.

I have a shop vac, but no carpet machine. It seems like there is more coffee in the padding under.

Best thing to do is get a carpet cleaner. . .. you can pick one up for under $200 . . .the hotter it gets the water the better. I am sure you will find other uses for it.

Well no luck. I borrowed a buddies steam cleaner-no luck. I tried everything, nothing. 3 different carpet cleaners, baking soda, still there. The black Starbucks coffee must have some nasty stuff in it to dye the carpet.

Holy crap, that is tough coffee. I have seen weird things work. . . .everything from oil soap to sunscreen to a magic eraser sponge. Might be time to start experimenting.

Yeah, it's like wine. The tannins from the coffee are like a organic dye-that coupled with the carpets low quality and how hot it was it will be tough.
