I finally put it to work to earn it's keep. (Note the HUGE rope that is clearly large enough to properly retrain the load.... or at least look like I tired and repel law enforcement long enough for the ten minute drive... )

It is almost bolt on. You have to cut off the plastic inner lip apr. 1/4" at the back side of the wheel. I also took the turn indikator kick back pin from my -73 steering wheel witch was otherwise cracked beyond repair and installed it on the Falcon wheel. The hub geometry is basicly the same. The conductive ring in the hub has to be manufaftured in my case to maintain contact with the horn button. My sourse for Ford parts has a barn full so no Falcons was harmed and it feels really good to bring Henrys parts back in buisness.

40+ years of dirt...

What's left of the front channel runs...

Tackled the window anti rattle kits today, the old channel runs were really bad... literally had to chip the front runs out with a screwdriver! Also put speakers in the doors and sound deadener, a nice solid thud when they close now!

What Have YOU Done To Your Truck Today?

Found them on eBay for about $65 for 8 pieces. Quality seems good to me, fit was really good - only one clip on an outer needed a little tweaking.

I am waiting on more research or experience with the 80s door weatherstripping because I hate glue...

Took the carb off Magnus. Tore it down and it is soaking now. The bowl was really dirty. All gaskets dried up and stuck on. Guess that's what happens when a truck sits for 5 years. The ball was in there but no sign of the weight. Weird. Hopefully I can reassemble and install tomorrow after changing the wires and plugs. Distributor cap and rotor already done. Should make a HUGE difference.

Strangest thing happened today. The Ole gal was running kinda rough, which was odd considering I gave her a tune up a few days ago. Turns out, one of the plug wires blew off the distributor cap. Replaced the cap, and all is now well.

Was changing my radiator hoses when 1 I don't think they gave me the right hoses and 2 I decided to take the thermostat housing off (idk the official name) and now I'm debating on replacing it. Broncograveyard has one for $13 with a new gasket. As you can see my POs gasket was rtv and this piece randomly cut

Just looked at mine sit in the yard. Have driven it since I ran out of gas from being siphoned the other day.
