I agree!!! Mine haven't fallen off yet but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. Now that I think about it I might crawl under for a peek.

Finally got my truck back from the shop and took it out for a date. (hubby and my 14th anniversary). For the most part it purrs like a big kitten now (still a tiny bit surge-y at idle, especially warm). End result? New coil (again), new ICM, cleaned the carb (again) and a new battery cable negative terminal. Hitting the road tomorrow.

Went through my tail gate pile and picked one out that wasn't too destroyed. Took the flap disc's to it, then remembered I had a sandblaster and tried that. Worked great, and I also now have a beach in front of my shop! Ha. They always have a big dent in front of the handle, not and easy spot to straighten.

I bumped the key at 06:40 and then hit the road to work, 6:50 pulled into work and parked it for the day. I love a 6 mile no traffic, no stop light drive to work.

Sweet, i had 86 cj7 Laredo that i brought back from the grave in the late 90's and dropped a 350 in it as well. Man, i miss that jeep. Easy to work on and parts were relatively cheap. Rhino lined the entire inside and underneath. 4" skylifter and 2" body lift and 35's. It was a hard top too. Got offered way to much money for it though and had to let it go, they are nothing but big toys that get you in trouble..mughahaha

I bumped the key at 6:10, let her warm up for 5 mins, drove my 3 miles to work (3 stop lights though), at work at 6:30. Doing important stuff right now.

Sound and heat insulation on the floor... GT Mat 50 square foot roll looks like it will cover the doors too yet...

Hoping to get the carpet and stereo installed over the weekend.

Fabricated four LED rock light brackets.....two different designs but they follow the same principle. Now to install them.

Pair No 1.

Pair No. 2... slightly different.

got my front axle rebuild done and "installed" the other day woohoo now i just have to find the torque spec for the u bolts and torque them, attach the steering linkage to the knuckle, reattach the shocks to the mounts on the axle, and install new brake hoses (hopefully with the install of a new break line kit, also any leads on where to find a brake line kit for a 76 4x4 would be appreciated), install prop valve, bleed brakes, take for a test drive, throw myself through windshield, take it home, and get started on sheet metal/ body work.
