digging up an old topic, but I just got a used ATS kit and its the 085 style and it says its for a 6.9 but I want to put it on my 92 7.3, question is will it fit? thanks

 

It will fit. Engines are basically the same externally.

It looks like my ATS 088. I see the cross over pipe in the truck under the turbo unit. On the exhaust input side of the turbo, there should be a piece that acts like a Y pipe. You'll need that piece if it is not already there.

 

well this kit seems to be missing one thing the oil return line, and a small plug that goes in the intake right by the old air cleaner, anyone have one or at least a pic of one?

LoL. Me too. Just picked up an IDIT motor with a pretty much complete turbo set up, all rebuilt around 32K ago.

That is likely the air filter indicator. It is supposed to tell you when the filter is getting clogged. You can just find a brass plug that fits and install it there.

What kit? Its fairly straight forward, but if you know your kit number (or post a pic so we can tell you) do a search on here for it.
