As noted, I am a new user. I have spent the past several days reading posts and I am impressed with the knowledge and the willingness to share that knowledge with others. I am also impressed with the civilness practiced. FTE and it's members are doing a good job of covering many Ford related concerns, so thanks in advance for any comments regarding my concerns.

This is probably answered somewhere in this forum already but I was unable to find it.

I have an 09 F250 SD with a 5.4 and I wish to negate the headlights on, interior lights on, door open bell so the radio can be played with the doors open etc. In other words, is there a way that I can control what I want from my truck or am I stuck with Ford's notion of what they think that I need to do?
