Slow starting. Bad gas?

At 65 mph steady foot on the gas I felt big bump as the engine died for only a second. I immediately looked at the tac and it was normal, did not drop off like with previous ignition failures. No CEL. Weather was dry, in the 50's. Fifteen minutes later I made a 10 minute stop at a relatives then it would not start. Fuel pump ran 2-3 seconds like normal, starter turned normally. I pulled codes, 111 in KOEO, 111 in CM. Put finger on ICM and it was as cool as the fender. Still did not start. I put my code reader up and tried to start one more time. It started and I drove home fine. With no codes in CM I doubt if ignition is the issue.

I fill up only about every 6-8 weeks. The last two tanks have been 100% gas, no ethanol and I did not add Stabil. It has been parked outside for about two months so I may need to go back to Stabil/Heet.

If the gas is bad why would it start after sitting twenty minutes? I would appreciate your thoughts.

i would get some Heet in there as moisture could be part of the problem. i would also inspect your cap/rotor. if they are worn or old this could possibly cause an issue also.
