Code scan connector location?

I'm normally in the 80-86 forum but have just bought an '88 F150 to tidy up & resell (huge difference in ride comfort compared to my '83 F250)

Can someone show/tell me where the connector is to check codes before I advertise it for sale?
I've searched the truck & forums but can't find anything obvious under the dash or by the drivers side hood hinge.

Thanks for any help

also, I think that the wire will actually be hung up on the inside of the fender, I think it was either red or grey.
