Advice with brakes..'95 3.0
My brakes take a daily beating due to my commute. I drive 80mi roundtrip through curvey mountain roads.....
I basically need to replace front calipers, pads, drums, shoes,(hardware) and master cylinders......I;ve been using Lifetime pads from Autozone and have been changing pads every 4-5 months. iI haven't paid for a set for a year now, but they are wearing so fast due to the drive, the quality of the pads and the fact that the calipers are not functioning well....
I'd like to budget for around $400. I'll be doing the work.
The front rotors and rear drums are getting turned- they have about 5K on em.....
Good places to look? Good deals?
Any help appreciated- thanks

Think about replacing the rubber lines to the front calipers too, and flush all the lines out until they run clear. A clapsed line can make the calipers fail to relax when the brakes are let off.
Also use white lithium grease on the caliper slides - it will last a lot longer than regular greese. Binding calipers also make the brakes drag, if it has been doing that you will see one pad out of each set slap wore down, and the other pad look like it's still in good shape.
