There have been other posts regarding this issue. I have only one personal experience with this vendor...I ordered/bought an item and it took weeks to receive it. I did get a response when I asked about the part and why it saw taking so long but the estimate that they gave me on the revised delivery date was also wrong. There are too many other vendors (Midfifty, Blue Oval, Dennis Carpenter, etc) to have to put up with unsatisfactory service from any one supplier.

I had a terrible experience with them. No commitment what-so-ever to Customer Satisfaction or Concern.

As a small business owner I'm reluctant to bash somebody but that was my personal experience.

I ordered a couple of spring center bolts from them. Waited about two weeks and started trying to call them. It took another week to get anyone to answer the phone. After I was able to finally talk to someone they put the parts in the mail that same day. I like to spend my money locally but with that kind of service I will not do much business with them.

If you paid for the order with a credit card, most likely you can call your bank and they can pull the payment back in 24 hours. I might do that at the same time you cancel your order. I would think Johns would make an effort to call you at that point!

John's F100

Over the years I bought a few things from them and saw them at local car shows--Goodguys etc-here in NorthCalif-and had good experiences-But I don't think they are currently as active as they once were. I haven't been to any big outside shows so I don't know if they still have a vendors tent or not, but I don't believe they've updated their catalog in years/seems like a tried to get a more current catalog and they didn't have one/I did phone them recently when trying to get parts for my 58 steering box and they returned my calls and seemed to be trying to help me locate stuff--but could never find the parts I needed etc. Though they did try/

I have parts on back-order with them, but have been able to call and talk to the lady. I did order some other parts last year and had good luck with them then.

Johns F 100

I bought glass and bumpers from them through the Xmas holidays; Had back order on some parts but they were friendly; used email with Diana, contact with them was easy, at the time.

i would use them again if required; don't know their status as to still being in business.

I've purchased parts numerous times from them and haven't had a problem. Recently a couple of weeks ago. No problems. Good luck.
