Replace 302 with 351w out of Ford lightning?

I need a new engine for my 96 F150 4x4. Found a 351 at a junk yard out of a Lightning cheap! What all would it take to make the swap?

You need a 5.8 balancer with the sensor ring for the crank position sensor and a 28oz flywheel or flexplate to match whatever transmission you have. The 302 Y pipe will also have to be widened, but otherwise it's a direct swap with no wiring or computer changes necessary.

Bummer , but you can still get a 351 & build it better than a lightning ,the GT-40 intakes are hard to find , or leave it stock , it will pull better than the 302 on the low end ...Lew

$550 is good for a complete 5.8 in running condition, '94+ motors will have the same roller cam your 5.0 does.
