I think I got a little lucky.
It belongs to a fire dept. and was still in use when I went to see it. It's a 4dr crew cab 4x4 F350 with only 26k miles on it and still looks new. They are leaving the three DeeZee boxes on the bed and some of the Fire Dept decals on it for me as well. They said they 'have to' take the lights off and the official logos. My wife thinks i'm crazy, but I can't pass it up at only $7000. It's even Fire Engine red!

Yea, with 26,000 miles in a Fire House I would say it must be like new. Lookin forward to your pic's.

 

It has the 5.8 with automatic and overdrive.

 

REAALY? what a shame. Usually the FD gets the biggest engine available, gas or diesel. That crew cab will be a turd. And 7k is not any great deal in my mind

 

well, it has zero rust and its never been abused. I sure wish it had the diesel but i'll take what i got with the low miles. As for the crew cab, that's what i need for my kids. It may not be for everyone, but i dig it. And 7k is cheap for the Philly area.

 

The 351 is just fine in that truck and 7k isn't that bad for a truck with only 26k miles on it in perfect shape.

 

Will they at least let you have the siren with it???

 

that sounds like a hell of a deal for F350 4x4 crew,a 94 F250 4x4 went here last year with 38000 kms on it and sold for 6500,regular cab at that.nice rust free stuff is worth its money in the land of rust.
