lost my keys completely
how should I replace
I thought about a screwdriver but remembered there is a chip
locksmith says he can put one in for 200
is there a way to drive this with bypassing the ignition ?
dealer can't make a key unless you have the key code. ford codes only go back 10 years. they can make one up and put in a new key cylinder but then your key won't work your doors.
thanks
I guess its the locksmith for the ignition
hopefully that comes with a keyfob .
a new key fob should work ?
also when changing the ignition what do I have to do to get it to work ?
would it need to be reprogrammed ?
I have full coverage ,I dont know if comp is included in that
I thought I would have to pay a 500 deductible .
any way I just got done paying a locksmith 220 for one ignition key
and one door key ?
now I have no key fob .but at least I can drive .

Lost keys and broken glass are 2 very good reasons to have a low deductable comprehensive rider on your insurance. I've experienced a broken back glass on my Mark VIII due to hail, lost keys and a broken windshield from a stone on the Interstate. 0 deductable covered them all.
