My first thought is that it is the oil cooler that is letting go.

My truck is leaking at the same spot and Curtis told me to check the long tube on top of the oil cooler to the front of the motor. He said the O ring tend to leak in cold weather. I konw my truck will leak untill the motor starts to warm and then it will quit.

That is the typical sign that the oil cooler o-rings are beginning to let go. If you wait too long, the inner water jacket o-rings will allow the coolant to get into the crankcase and then you will have a big nasty mess.

Cody just posted a nice writeup on changing the oil cooler o-rings and gaskets.
