Blower switch or blower

My blower on position 1 runs low position 4 runs high but 2 and 3 are the same. Is it the switch or the blower?

The blower has resistor(s) that maybe bad. Located near the blower motor. My second position doesn’t work, just haven’t had time to poke around to fix!

Maybe this thread will help also:

Ive put 2 resistors in my truck now. Both times I had no fan in position 1, 2, or 3, but had high speed.

There've been quite a few posts in recent weeks about having to replace resistor packs but I don't recall any about replacing the blowers. Doesn't prove anything about your specific case but I'd think the odds are its the resistor pack.

If the blower motor works even on one speed that means that is still good and is getting' some juice. Rusted connector on the resistor pack was the problem in my case.
