My center carrier bearing was making all kinds of noise. Thought is was my passenger side wheel bearing until I put the truck on the rack and couldn’t find anything wrong with either front wheel bearing. We put the truck in gear and found the center carrier bearing was BAD…decided to change out all three universal joints at the same time. Question, should I use loctite on the bolts or just torque without anything? Does anyone know the torque numbers for the carrier bearing, UVJ caps, and the where the driveline connects to the transfer case.

Ford does not call for use of thread lock in their WS manual. I've not used it either in this application. If you want to use some I would stick to medium strenght.
