Jan 2 2007, I handed over a bank check for my dream truck that I planned to drive for life.

I paid $36,450 or so and with tax title and other bs the loan was for just at $40k.

I gotta admit that this year has been a little sketchy with the obummer economy but I just could not let her go. Two weeks ago I received the title to my X. Such a good feeling that I pinned it to the wall of my office just to remind me it is now mine.

Bought it with 40k and it now has 70k on it. Pretty much drive the wifes Burb as much as possible and just let it sit in the garage. Sometimes she is so clean, it just cannot leave.

Plan on getting new tires first, then EGR delete, after that to the body shop for all little dings and dents taken out and a new paint job. From there, who knows.

Whenever my 6.0 dies, I will put a Cummings in it. Already got the guy who does it and he says I will not be dis-appointed.

Plan on being the last one on earth with an X, however I know with you guys I have some competition in that endeavor!

Take care,
Eric

11secdsm,

Yes those are the 18'' Mazzi Hulks with 35'' Nitto Terra Graps. It did not fit in the garage to start, too tall. But a good contractor and $1800.00 later, she fits perfect!!

Several years ago, a police department bought and paid for my wife's car. And a police department bought and paid for my Excursion after that. And last February, a local deputy sheriff bought my daughter a new 4X4 Eddie Bauer Explorer.

When cops go out here and screw up, they have to suffer the consequences.

Nice truck!!.. Did you know that in South America that the Super Duties come with Cummins engines from Ford. Kinda a neat factoid. I'm waiting until the 6.7L comes out and is proven (maybe 2012) and then I'll switch to a F350 CC.

Congrats man!

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be about someone getting "owned" (pwnd) and I'd get to use this pic!

New to Excursions and this forum for that matter...

We just bought our first Excursion and paid cash for it! Feels so good to have the title especially since I have had a car payment since I was 17 years old!
