That's a really good point. Probably why they're white to start with. Yea, i reckon if I dont end up figuring something out with one of those Aussie instrument clusters i'll get one from Dennis Carpenter.

Here's the photos of the gauges from my truck.
In regards to the chrome bezel around the gauges, can't say i have ever seen one like that. (theres a couple more photos in my album)

Oh, wow! Thanks for posting those! I dont know why the cluster in that brochure was different. But it was for an F250. Not a 150. I wouldnt have thought theyd be different.
What are the part numbers off these pieces?
Did you say that some of them came with a tachometer?

That instrument pod would be perfect for fitting aftermarket gauges, not having the ribs would allow more flexability for gauge placement. Is there any reproduction pods and lenses available? Thanks for posting the pics.

I wasn't able to get hold of a Tacho dash for pics but it doesn't matter anyway. What i didn't think of earlier is that the Cortina's are 4 and 6 cylinder meaning the tacho will not work for the 8. For the conversion, most people use the factory Tacho from an Aussie Falcon. As these are hard to get, thats not an option either.
As 77460ford said, retro fitting after market gauges might work. This may also allow for the chrome bezel idea aswell.
As far as know, no one reproduces the F100 instruments, but i am unsure on the Cortina. (possably in England??)
Found this one on ebay if anyone's interested. It say's pick up only but you might convince them to post. Just a thought

I know I said this above, and it seems it got blown off, but I really think building your own cluster with autometer gauges is the best options.

Here is one for a 69 Mustang.

Here's one in a 94-04 Mustang.

I have a RHD truck built in South Africa. The cluster is steel with round gauges. The entire dash is almost different. But someone on this forum once mentioned it almost the same as the earlier F600 from the states. Probably not helping but just mentioned it for interest sake.

Somewhere something was said about the F600 dents using the bump style dash but also said they used the bump style firewall don't know if the firewall would interfere with a dash swap or if the piece behind the windshield is the same between the 2.

Here is a photo of my dash with the original cluster.

If you google 1972 Ford F600 cluster you will find the result is identical. All SA built 73-79 F100 and F250 came with this dash setup.
