Spartan 210 tune

Well, I have been running this tune now for 10,000 mi. and it is awsome!! I am getting 5 mi per gal better than stock(7.2 to 12.4), it runs great, no problems what so ever, I am very happy with the Spartan Tuner and DPF Delete set up, it will pay for itself in no time. Anybody wondering if they should do this to thier truck, I would say "hell yes", it is the best thing I could have done, I actually love my truck now!

I couldn't agree more! I was running the Spartan 150hp DPF on tune for about a year, and finally did the 210hp DPF delete this past August. The DPF on tune was a good tune, but the DPF delete was really a step up in sound & performance. When the income tax return $$$ comes in, I'll probably step up to the 275 for even more performance & MPG's. The best of both worlds. Gotta love it when you CAN have your cake & eat it too!!

I am running the DPF/Cat delete and the Spartan 250hp... 5mpg increase as well. It is unbelievable! The power is insane. A truck that big should not be able to move like that. I have run the 275hp tune and forget about it. I can honestly say it was too much for me. When the converter locks up it pulls like a bat outta hell... its scary. However, the shifting was so firm it made every day driving uncomfortable for me. I had a hard time drinking coffee on my way to work!

dpf vs. dpf/cat

Does it make a difference if you just get the dpf delete pipe or the dpf/cat delete pipe?

you have to run a tune to delete the DPF, overwise you will have problems with the computer in the truck. You have to lie to the PCM.

Assuming you have the tuner, you're best off just getting rid of both DOC & DPF. The truck will run cooler and not heat the DOC enough, thereby eventually clogging up and going bad.
