#242
Actually, I bought it from a FTE memeber, ArmyFord, down in Colorado Springs... he had some pics posted:

Windshield rubber adhesive
Thanks, Josh. I looked for other threads on "windshield installation" but all of them related to more recent trucks. The new vehicles have hardening adhesives that make the windshield a structural element, I was told. The windshield gasket I got from MACs has an instruction sheet with the same wording as in the Ford Shop Manual, with a Ford part number for the glue. My local auto parts store has the 3M silicone and tells me that is what to use.

Here you go....this is the stuff:
Here's the thread I posted a while back that shows a step-by-step of putting in a windshield:

Windshield installation
Thanks, Dan. That is what I needed. I saw some discussion on your thread about the tabs sticking down in the way. The Ford Service Manual mentions them and says to bend them up when you put in the rubber gasket, then bend them back down afterwards. What are they for? Keep the glass from popping out in a crash?
