Advice on 09 STX
Looked at an 09 leftover regular cab STX today. Is a 2V 4.6 with 3.55's decent? It also has vinyl floor which I'm not a big fan of. They want $23,375. That includes $3k in rebates. Looking for my first vehicle. Do you guys have any input on the price or truck itself? Thanks.

myself owning an '09 STX supercab, i can say it's an awesome truck. the vinyl floor is easy to clean/keep clean and the engine has plenty of power. that's waaaayy cheap. in Canada they wanted $39,400 for my truck! my wife's '09 Silverado LT was $36,500. (never thought I'd say this about a Chevy, but it's a reallllllyyyyy nice truck for a Chevy)

You might be able to get the same deal on a extra cab for that price. I did last month for a extra cab 4X2 XLT. If you go with Ford Motor credit there is a $1k rebate take it but refinance with Bank of America after 30 days. Ford is 8.69% Bank of America is 4.9%. Walk away from them a few times helps try telling them you want to sleep on it the price will fall before you can get out of there.
I found with Chevy they look nice, ride nice , but don't hold up especially the Rockwell limited slip differentials. Lucky if you get 70k before they star to go. They cut way to many corners on quality. If you change the diff. to a Eaton limited slip when it goes you will have what should have been there in the first place. Hope this helps

Pre-arrange your financing if possible and know your interest rate.
Good luck!
