Carpet on 66 f100

Did all Custom cab 66 F100 come with carpet? I took out a old carpet and was thinking about putting a rubber Mat back in.

I'm pretty positive the answer is no as I have been here long enough to know from NumberDummy that almost everything on our trucks were optional.

no i think that the custom cab had the rubber mat in them although i put carpet in mine

My custom cab still has it's original rubber mat, I'm not sure if carpet was even an option back then. Maybe on the 65-66 Ranger models? NumberDummy will let us know for sure.

1965/66 F100/250

Rangers came with carpeting.

Standard Cabs came with a plain black rubber mat.

Custom Cabs came with this same black mat, also had blue, green and red rubber mats with black flecking.

I didn't think they came with carpet. What about the gas tank, was it covered?

Rangers came with full carpeting, bucket seats (1965/66 Mustang), center console (1964/65 Falcon Sprint), and a vinyl curtain that covered the full tank.
