Just got a 2006 F-250 PSD and it needed new grill and fender badges. Got em here:

Ford Emblems | F150, F250, F350, F450, F550, Mustang, Power Stroke, Ranger, Ovals

They only sell genuine OEM badges.

Front badge was easy. Just remove the grill as others have described (good opportunity to clean the radiator of bugs, etc). Twist off the two snap tabs and remove the speed nut (keep this). Old emblem will fall out. Snap new one in and replace the speed nut. Replace the grill. Piece of cake.

Fender badges were a little more of a challenge.....lots of elbow grease to get the adhesive off. Clean it up real good with rubbing alcohol and stick the new ones on.

Hope this helps.

Jason

Keep in mind this is an expedition. Are there clips on them too at the bottom of grill?

It's apparent that even though it's a limited with same color grille it's a seperate piece.

The new piece has the blue backing of two sided tape.

Does the original?

the grille comes off easy! 2 mins, just the hand full of screws on top then lean the grille forward and reach down inside from the top using a flat head screw driver and push down on the metal clips at the bottom.

has anyone painted or polished thier stock emblem? if so post a pic!! I dont want to spend money replacing the stock emblem because in the future I want to get a billet grille...

I am wanting to split my emblem to repaint the background. I don't like the lens painted, as it lacks depth, and don't want an aftermarket as they can look cheesy (no offense to anybody that has them). Since my truck is all black, I wanted something that would pop and the old blah Blue background wasn't cutting it for me. I still want to stay true to the blue oval though. If I can get an extra emblem cheap, I will be splitting it and painting the background only House of Kolor Kandy Cobalt blue over Orion Silver, and leaving the logo chrome. Just something sutile to add a little snap to the look of the rig.

I replaced my front badge on my F250, came with two clips on either side and a centered safety post (plastic) that is threaded. No tape

The emblem has an adhesive backing, its tabs are just locating pins.

When you peel off the outer layer, the adhesive is exposed, so basically the emblem glues on.

Heat the emblem with a hair dryer, then use nylon fishing line or a plastic putty knife between the emblem and grille to work it off.

There are several different types of these grille emblems:

1999/2004 F250/350, F(Super Duty) & 2000/2004 Excursion use the same emblem: F81Z-8213-AB / MSRP: $34.03 / FTE sponsor tousleyfordparts.com price: $22.46.

2005/07 emblem is different: 5C3Z-8213-AA / MSRP: $41.12 / tousleyfordparts.com price: $27.14 ~ 6 bucks+ cheaper than the ebay sellers price ($33.95).

Tousley Ford ~ White Bear Lake MN / Go to their website, click on home, then type these Ford part numbers into the box to see all the myriad applications.

2005 F 350 badge replacement

In order to replace the badge there is no need to pull the Grill all the way off. Simply take the 4 screws off the top tilted forward and take vice grips to the back of the badge and twist off the tabs, put the new badge in until it snaps you are done.
