Stock 3 speed manual clutch ?? $$
Had to adjust the clutch linkage this weekend. It was letting out about an inch off the floor. I only have about 3 more threads until I'm not able to adjust it any more. What's the going rate on a new/rebuilt clutch for a stock 3 speed column shift? It's behind a stock 223 if that makes any difference. F100.

Nothing is cheap any more. Almost any complete clutch set (PP, disc, and release bearing) is $200+ for rebuilt. Modern cars are worse -- I have two vehicles that the release bearing costs $150 EACH. One of them the dealer price for a 3-pc set is over $800. My guess is that so many cars have automatics nowadays that the volume just isn't there any more.
If you want to scrimp, you can just get the disc re-lined for about $30 - 40. Clutch jobs aren't so bad on these, if it needs more parts down the road it's a 3-hr job or so.

My 48 is in similar shape, but the clutch isn't the problem. I rebuilt it and still have the same situation. My engine is so worn, the thrust bearing on the crankshaft is about gone and causes the same problem. I ran out of threads a year ago.
Just one other possibility for you to consider.

If you mean the diaphragm type clutch, it will work (got mine at NAPA), BUT I had to grind a small amount off one of the bosses on my bellhousing to clear. It is very smooth, light pedal too, but it seems to require a little more throw than the Long style.
