KOER Test Help

There is not a code 18 for KOEO.
If it was a code 18 in CM then it means you lost the IDM information from the Ignition system to the computer.
If it was from CM post back and we will tell you what to test for that.
And what is the box?
Does this box have a name and model number?
I would look very close at the computer and its plug.
Also check out the Ignition system wiring and resistor.

The 33 is more than likely a bad vacuum line from the EGR valve to EVR solenoid or not vacuum to the EVR solenoid. Test with a hand vacuum pump and ohm/volt meter.
Continuous Memory Code 18 indicates a loss of IDM input to the processor.
Possible causes:
-- Open harness.
-- Shorted harness.
-- TFI module
-- Processor.
Key off.
Disconnect processor 60 pin connector. Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.
Leave processor disconnected.
Disconnect E-core ignition coil and TFI module.
Measure resistance between Pin 4 at the of the Computer plug and IDM circuit at TFI vehicle harness connector.
Is resistance between 20,000 and 24,000 ohms?
If No:
SERVICE open circuit. RECONNECT processor. CLEAR Continuous Memory Codes. RECONNECT all components.
If Yes:
Key off.
Processor and TFI module disconnected.
Measure voltage between Pin 4 of the Computer plug and battery negative post.
Key on, engine off.
Measure voltage between Pin 4 of the Computer plug Pins 40 and 60 of the Computer plug.
Is any voltage reading greater than 10.5 volts?
Yes
SERVICE short circuit. RECONNECT all components.
If No
Then post back and we will go deeper.
