Nitto Terra Grappler A/T Yea or Nay

Looking for what people think about the Nitto Terra Grappler A/T? Does anybody have experience with them in the snow? I probably will only be on pavement or snow.

I have only had mine on for about 4k miles but i love them. Have had them in heavy rain on the highway with no problems. I know they have received excellent reviews in the snow as well but will have to wait a few months for that. The only slight issue is they can be a little bouncy but not bad. It's not enough for me to complain about. Our vacation home has a beach sand parking area that i always had to kick in 4WD with the stock BFG's but the Nitto's i don't and they don't even really dig in.

I have also only had about 500lbs in the bed so far so can't comment on much heavier loads or towing. But so far i give them a 10+

I have a set also. 315/75/16 (35"). they seem to wear good, i get plenty of grip in sand, mud and snow. Well worth the money.

I am leaning toward them very heavily, but I am still undesided. I plow in the winter so I am still wondering about how well they will do in the snow pushing the plow. I reviews are so one sided it is hard to make a decision. People either love them or hate them.

I spent months searching for the tire that fit my need. I was looking at quality, price and fitment with my main goal being snow traction with looks as my last choice. Although i have not yet personally tested them yet in the snow as i previously mentioned but i based my choice on the positive reviews i read. Being here in NH i have always loved the BFG AT's and will compare these to them. I have several friends with plows that run crap tires and they do ok so my guess is they will do better than expected. Im sure they won't compare to a narrow winter only plow tire but they should do fine. Depending on the size your looking at can play a factor as well. I have the 285/75/17's which are a narrow tire. If your looking at a wider tire it may not perform as well.

I ran them on a 04 F250 (LT295/70R17) and on a 2004 F150 (LT285/65R18). Both did great in the snow, although I have no input on plowing. Great on the road as well, wet or dry. Never any complaints, except in mud (they don't clean out very easily).

I'm thinking about them too... how is the road noise?

Dave67... I didnt know they came in that size, I think thats a good size for stock, not to wide for winter driving but a whole lot wider than the 245's that came on mine! I had 285/75r16 on my F150, so these would be the same but 1" taller.
