No relation to Dennis Carpenter.

interesting that he lowered the body on the chassis 1.5 inches, then adjusted everything else. interesting metal bed floor as well.

I just checked the CT website. It mentions the piece in the table of contents, but no pics or article. dan makes stock and custom beds for Effies. His is 3" wider than stock with a Chevy steel floor. Funny, but for some reason, he decided to drill a big 'ol hole behind the carb and move the distributor back there...

It was at the NSRA nationals in Louisville this weekend, What a super nice truck! One of the mods I liked was the hood latch, they look like small bear claw latches on eather side of the front hood. very cool!

The truck was also in Moultrie, GA last February at the swap meet I went to. It's a very clean and well done truck.

I was going to ask the same question when I got my mag last Monday. Dan and Peggy did a super job on both trucks. They are good people as well. Everytime I see them they are friendly. No pics from the magazine yet but here are some from the Shades of the Past last fall.
