HELP Fuel Injection Control Module FICM is fried!

My FICM has died and I need to replace it ASAP! I really don't want to go to the dealer for this one. Anybody out there selling one or know where I can get one at a reasonable price used, reman, or new?

part # 4C3Z-12B599-ABRM or -AARM

Thanks.

Adding a question to this ...

If you get another FICM from a salvage yard off the same year model truck ... is it plug 'n play??

From what I have read, a used unit would need to be married to my truck.

A new or reman unit will need to be flashed.

Like I said, I will take what I can get to get the truck running this week.

If it is from a similar flash it will work. I have an extra one from an '04 that I plan to have tuned by Innovative. To test it out I installed it in my '03 and it ran exactly the same, mileage and everything.

I put another FICM in the truck and it seems to run OK. Should I reflash the unit to marry with the PCM?

If its from a similar flash you should be okay. I think it'll throw codes if there is any incompatibility.

I'm having similiar difficulties. I need to find a FICM for my ford f350 that is not going to put a hole in my pocket. The cheapest I have come across is 700.00. Do you have any ideas where I can get one quickly. I have to rely on my truck for business and without my truck I make no money. No money...no truck.

I have 2004 f350 6.0L superduty.

Thanks.
