Which lift Kit?

I have a 95 150 4x4 standard cab long box. I want 2 lift it 4 or 6 inches but i dont know what brand 2 buy. Right now im looking at either BDS or superlift. I like the life time warenty of bds but the price is higher than superlift. How is superlift for durability? I am only debating the size of the lift becuase i might put in a larger motor and better gearing so i am just looking for opinions of these 2 lifts. thanks for any imput.

I'm pretty sure I put a superlift in mine.It worked OK. You want a kit that has drop brackets that spread the load out on the frame like skyjacker or procomp. The superlift and rough country brackets are flimsy in comparison.I know My frame had a couple cracks in it when I sold it.

get the longer radius arms too the stock ones arn't good for offroading with bigger tires, just look at them with bigger tires and you can tell really easily that they don't work well they are not long enough to stop the spring/axle wrap that happens with bigger tires

Several years ago I had a 4'' Trail Master lift on a 76 f-150 with a 429 under the hood. It rode and drove like a dream. I was completely satisfied with it and would buy another Trail Master if I were going to do a lift on my 90 f-150.

drop brackets crack the frame in general. solve the problem entirely and cut and turn the knuckels.

im not 2 worried bout how the kit would handle rough offroading. the only reason i want the kit is cuase i have 3/4 springs in the back and i want 2 level the truck out. I dont plan on serious offroading it is just my farm/work truck. thanks for your imput.

well if you only want to level it id just buy some 2" front lift coils from BDS i got my 4" from them for $250 CAD which is $175ish USD...for now then you wont need to get arms brackets or anything like that and if you break em bend em or blow em up they are replaced no questions asked...i like that

I went with the cheapest 4" I could find...Rough Country...hunted all fall, plowed all winter, mudded all spring, and not one complaint from me!!

If its just a work/farm truck I wouldn't spend serious money on a heavy duty off road suspension for it.

Mines a DD/all around rig and I'm happy with it.
