which carter afb carb for 351m?

I have a 2bbl on it now. Will be switching to a 4bbl electric choke with egr. I was looking at the 1400 edelbrock, but which series would I need to find in a carter afb carb that is egr capable?

I have found the carters are a little less money, but they appear to be indenticle.

With EGR, it's not the carburetor that matters, it's the intake manifold that matters. You can use the same carburetor for an EGR and non-EGR setup. You just have to use an intake manifold with the exhaust crossover. The EGR valve mounts to a spacer plate which goes underneath the carburetor.

So, just for my understanding. I already have an edelbrock perfomer intake(3771 I believe) that is egr compatable. I then put on the 4bbl egr plate and mount that with whatever kind of 4bbl that I want?
