Good Morning every one, looks like a overcast day with a chance of rain. I get to work indoors today so all is good. I discovered yet again yesterday that one of the major causes of GREMLINS in a mechanical component (unexplainable phenomenon that prevents an other wise correct diagnoses and repair from curring a problem of poor run or other things that occure that shouldn't in machines, automobiles, and such) in this case hard start, at times poor run was a pin hole in a piece of rubber fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump.
It did not leak to the out side but would let air in. Just when you are thinking you are getting smart, go figure.

Good Morning Orin, Ken, Pat.
Orin, my dad had a similar problem with his little road grader. A small hole in the low pressure hydraulic hose rendered it immobile for a few days while he and I checked everything else we could think of.
Ken, no need for me to fret about taxes this year. I got them done last night. Plenty of time to spare.
I got a good laugh out of it Pat.

Good Morning Miles,Pat, and Ken, my taxes have not been a problem for a while for I bit the bullet and done them some time ago. I have many fond memories of Dad running around here on the evenning of April 14 scrambling to put it all together which sometimes turned into April 16 getting them in the mail with lots of anxiety and many cups of coffee.
Yes Miles, there has been a hydraulic concern to that I remember involving a power steering return hose from reservoir to pump on a newer Ford SUV a while back. Keep thinking it cant happen again.
Pat, even though I appreciate the compliment I fear the smart one here is the one with his boat hooked up to the back of his pickup in his sig.
