I think you are right. It seems with most newer vehicles if you pay for the tow package you just get the receiver hitch and wiring for trailer lights. GM products offer a tow/haul switch to change the shift points in the trans but I don't know if Ford ever did anything like that.

 

My f150 and dad's both have tow haul mode-- so did my escape beleive it or not :-)

 

got my new throw-out bearing installed and transmission back in place without a problem only took about 35-40 minutes by myself and also got my new u joint in and greased the hell out of everything with a zerk..... main question i have is why is it every time you get your hands covered in grease/oil/bs your phone rings off the hook like someones house is on fire... but whenever your bored and nothing to do everyone forgets your alive lol.....

Curtis on some vehicles a tow package might also include an additional or heavier duty transmission cooler.

 

Wait till you are supergluing something, and you have superglue on your finger, and that phone call you have been waiting on comes in. Of course you are using a phone with a touch screen and you have to slide your finger across the screen to answer the phone call.

I am not saying that happened to me.. but I am thinking of calling it hand free cell phone, and patenting it. I will say however that pulling it off your face, is both painful and embarrassing. or so I have heard.
